In honor of Halloween

Q: What slang term for “mouth” came from a Stephen King novel?
A: Piehole! The word "piehole" dates to the 1983 horror movie Christine, in which a character says "Then shut your pie-hole."

  1. Mary--I thought it was a much older phrase--I love it and have used it--so thanks for clearing it up.

  2. I too, thought that phrase goes way back, and I would never have attributed it to SK. Interesting.
